The election is over and the previous board members, Curtis Kratz and Robert Nice, have secured their seats. Doug and Jack put forth an amazing effort and worked tirelessly to prove the residents of Franconia that things need to change and that they were the ticket to that change.
Doug and Jack listened to the concerns of residents, took their input with great consideration, and they had a plan for what they wanted to achieve if elected. Despite the loss, we can take all of those things and move forward to do the best we can in the interest of our township.
The bottom line....although we might not be happy about the results and we may even be a little discouraged, don't stop fighting. Don't stop going to meetings. Don't stop asking questions. Don't stop emailing and making phone calls to our supervisors and township leaders. Be present. Be a voice. Volunteer. Make sure they know your name and your concerns because at the end of the day....they work for us and it's our hard-earned money that goes toward this township to keep it going. Don't ever forget that.
